  1. Ahhh yes truly devilish,Night. Making us squirm, sweat, bleed for more... very, very, very, very devilishly evil.
Found your posting close to midnight; and while I cursed not only you but your ancestors I very deliberately scrolled past Cade and Micah (having read that many times) and feverishly read about Knox waking then going into a cold coma and poor Izzy in a panic *my heart beat almost out of my chest* ....*pant pant feeling blood drain from my head and right on down*.

(Paused reading to find box of tissues and blood pressure pills, *again*, dammit to all to the Darkside!!!)

I had a feeling that Knox would willingly submit to chains and bottoming for his mate, and be a better vampire for it.

That was a great throat-clenching,air-stealing scene when they came home and all was gathered by the door. And Knox stood there unwaivering, and hugging Isaac giving him all the strength and support he could.

I was glad to read some of Rowe's and Dan's wisecracking again as it has seemed to be missing from their scenes in this story ( I had put it down to not having any kids of their own to raise, princely duties and work and general mellowinf out over the years.)

I was doubly glad to see Rowe and Knox begin to heal and patch their friendship after the big hit it has taken. I think I have sighed and grieved over their friendship as much as any of the mated couples' stories. I consider their friendship one of the greatest in all fiction. ( isn't there an old saying about how spouses can come and go but true friends are forever???!!!)

And you started on Gabe and Ghost's story...

I suppose I should leave out the tissues and get a refill of my bp meds...

Thanks Night for a great story. I have not been disappointed yet. Till next week, Knox and Isaac...
